Administration Team Manager – (Maternity cover)

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage administrative and operational support and services with the Centre for Excellence for Children‘s Care and Protection (CELCIS). About the role

As the Administration Team Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of CELCIS’ administrative staff as part of a dynamic and responsive team. You will ensure the highest quality of support in project and operational activity across the whole of CELCIS, and the effective allocation and delivery of services within available resources. You will be responsible for team development, will lead, coach and develop individual team members and work closely with the Admin Co-ordinator to prioritise, manage and co-ordinate administrative support activities including those which have developed due to working from home, to ensure the smooth running of CELCIS’ work on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications and experience

You will have a relevant HNC/HND level qualification and relevant work experience in a similar role. You will have comprehensive, practical knowledge of administrative practices, processes and procedures and experience of managing staff and delegating tasks. You will also have strong IT skills and experience of coaching and mentoring staff.

Please note this is a fixed term role to provide maternity cover for approximately 12 months or until the substantive post holder returns.
