Continuing Professional Development

We will provide a range of learning opportunities including training, events, online and other innovative learning opportunities.

Consultancy

We will offer a wide range of consultancy services, including service review and development in line with evidence-based practice and a range of other consultancy services.

National Resource Centre

We will make accessible a collection of relevant journals, research periodicals, magazines, books and other resources.

Research

We will create a body of research that will further contribute to the application of evidence-based practice in relation to looked after children.

International services

We will work internationally to identify, promote and share good practice, and learn from international perspectives.

Course development

We will provide leadership and support for the further development of new and innovative interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

Qualifying courses

We will provide a range of highly relevant educational opportunities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

LACSIG Programme Office

We will have strategic project oversight of LACSIG, coordinating professional advice to the LACSIG Hubs and ensuring that our work aligns with, and compliments, the work of LACSIG.

Supporting policy implementation

We will actively promote and support the implementation of policy into practice.

Stakeholder participation

Our engagement with stakeholders will underpin our work as an organisation ensuring that we are aware of the current issues and their impact on looked after children.
