Reducing offending: Youth justice services and residential child care strategies

This one-day practice seminar will explore the relationship between youth justice and residential child care; consider ways of avoiding youth criminalisation; and discuss techniques for supporting both staff and young people with challenging behaviour.

The event is aimed at:

  • Senior staff and managers in residential child care
  • Managers and practitioners in the youth justice, children and families, and health sectors
  • Police officers
  • Designated senior managers in education.
