After a long career spent in children and families social work practice, Claire now plays an important leadership role within the CELCIS Directorate. Claire's principle focus is to make sure that we really know and understand what works best when it comes to supporting looked after and vulnerable children, their families and care leavers. Claire is a champion for this knowledge to be included in legislation, policy and guidance and implemented in support services. Free time is spent with her triplet nieces, going running, and singing in the Rock Choir.

Being an Unfeartie, Donna believes in the importance of a children’s rights-based approach and brings experience of working with, alongside and for children, young people, and families from roles with Children 1^st, NSPCC Scotland, Who Cares? Scotland, Children’s Hearings Scotland and Scottish Government.  As Operations Lead, Donna applies the learning gained over the last 20 years in developing the support and facilitation our vital administration function provides the wide range of colleagues and teams across CELCIS. As a proud mum to twin daughters, a son and a chocolate lab, she loves family adventures to the beach and travelling across Scotland.
