As part of Year of Young People, CELCIS, alongside a wide range of partners, young people, and communities involved in participation, are developing an exciting new project called the ‘Participating in Participation Network’.
Over the course of three Network events in 2018, attendees will get the chance to:
Share good practice and learn from different participation approaches
Challenge poor practice and tokenism
Develop new skills in areas such as participation, co-production, facilitation, presentation skills and conflict resolution
Amplify and champion the participation work of each individual organisation and participation group
Tackle ‘hot topics’ (e.g. ACEs, mental health) as a collective
Develop new friends and opportunities for networking
Inform a series of principles, values and guidelines for participation practice
Below are resources and information from the first Participating in Participation Network event.
