The course content was developed by ‘Children in Scotland’ with input from the child and maternal health team at NES and the Scottish Government Fetal Alcohol harm national working group.
The learning resource is divided into five main sections:
- understanding fetal alcohol harm
- prevention
- detection
- management
- conclusions.
Each section includes headlines, subject matter reading, videos and links to other resources.
Audience: The resource is designed for all professionals that work with people who may become pregnant, expectant parents, new parents and young children.
