The first ever CELCIS Festival of Residential Child Care rolls into Scotland this June, a week-long programme of events, celebrating and supporting the wonderful work of residential child care across the whole country.
Built around the 18th annual SIRCC Conference, the Festival line-up boasts a range of activities and events designed to champion and cheer on all that is residential child care.

There’s time to talk shop and let some steam off as you share the current burning issues and compare lessons learned in the EXPRESS YOURSELF debate to kick off our Festival.
The Festival powers up with a platform for practitioners to vent, rant, cajole and champion what matters most.

Come over all emotional and learn about love, touch and attachment in A GAB WITH THE GURUS.
No hugging here? CELCIS love gurus and veteran residential child care workers Judy Furnivall and Moyra Hawthorn lead a conversation about love, touch and attachment in care.

Grab a paintbrush, a plectrum or your inner performer as CELCIS join forces with Creative Scotland to help you GET YOUR ART TOGETHER.
Festival Tuesday is a proper creative challenge for care workers. The day-long event promises to refresh the creative parts other workshops can’t reach.
