New fostering agency launches major campaign to recruit carers

One of Scotland's oldest children's charities, the Dean and Cauvin Trust, has launched a new major campaign to recruit full time and short break foster carers for teenagers and for young parents and their babies. Room4U has been supported by the National Lottery with a £9,700 from Awards for All.

Young people with direct care experience have been involved in developing the fostering service from the start.

Room4U provides high quality full time and short break foster placements for teenagers and young parents and babies accommodated by local authorities in South East Scotland. They provide services that are sensitive to individual young people's needs combined with intensive through care and after care services, supporting young people to achieve positive destinations once they leave care.
