This two hour taster session will look at why making lasting change to services and practices can be very difficult and what it really takes to create real, positive, lasting improvements.
Setting out to make change happen is a daunting task, and efforts fail for many reasons. The best ideas and the best intentions just aren’t enough! This session explains how making lasting change is achievable, and with key insights and a few new terms and concepts, you will see how the approach offered here might help you.
This introductory session is designed for people who are interested in, or responsible for, influencing and guiding ways to improve services and to make changes for the better. This session is a chance to dip your toe in the water, find out more, and consider how to make change happen.
This is a presentation based session, with a minimum of 30 minutes dedicated to questions and discussion.
The course will last for 2 hours.
Anyone interested in learning about effective approaches to complex improvement and how an active implementation approach might help them with the challenges they are looking to address. Small teams of colleagues might find it beneficial to attend together. This course can be completed as a standalone event.
