SIRCC Residential Child Care Awards 2020

Do you know someone working in residential child care who deserves recognition? Do they go above and beyond for the children and young people they work with? The SIRCC Residential Child Care Awards are now open for nominations.

This award aims to recognise individuals who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the residential child care sector in Scotland over a sustained period of time. They will have shown leadership, inspired others, and had a positive influence on individuals, projects or organisations.

If nominating an individual for the award, please note that they do not have to be currently working in the sector to be eligible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to thank partners and colleagues who have made positive changes for you and others.

Care experienced children and young people can get involved too!

If you could nominate a residential child care worker for an award, who would you choose? What makes them extra special and super supportive? What big changes happened because of them? Or maybe there's a team of residential child care workers who've given advice and encouraged you to be the very best you can be?

We want to help you celebrate those who support and challenge you, give advice, and generally make your experience in residential child care more positive. The game-changers who believe in you and go the extra mile to create change and ensure your voice is heard.

Tell us. Share your story and theirs - we want to hear all about them!

You can nominate in any of the following categories:
