From care to adulthood: messages from research

Professor Mike Stein summarises his keynote speech from the Scottish Care Leavers Covenant conference. He speaks about his research in relation to corporate parenting and how to improve outcomes for young people in, or leaving care.

He broke it into four key areas:

• improving stability
• improving education
• young people leaving care later
• providing support from care into adulthood
