At the end of 2023 we responded to the opportunity to share views with the Scottish Parliament’s Education, Children and Young People Committee for its inquiry into Additional Support for Learning (ASL).
Our response, based on research evidence, practice experience, and feedback from longstanding cross organisational networks, placed a focus on the impact of national and local policy initiatives on children and young people in need of care and protection.
