A briefing on an action research project carried out in North Lanarkshire to support an improvement in transitions for looked after children moving from P7 to S1.
The research outlines an enhanced transitions approach and contains evidence from both young people and school staff on the benefits of the approach in supporting a successful transition from primary to secondary school.
