Action for Children launched a review into Child Criminal Exploitation in Autumn 2023. The report was published on 21 March 2024 and concluded that there is a crisis of exploitation and violence and that children and young people are being failed by a system that is piecemeal and suffers from tensions between criminal justice and safegurding approaches.
