This report from The Fostering Network, is based on a survey, which took place in the summer of 2021, and covered key practice and workforce issues such as placement stability, training and support for carers, and status and authority of the workforce. The survey takes place every three years and gives an insight into fostering across the UK, identifying good practice and where improvements are needed. For the first time, the survey included fostering service members – a total of 3,352 foster carers and 99 fostering services across the UK took part.
