SIRCC Online: 9 - 10 November 2022
About SIRCC
Our aim for SIRCC is to provide an inspiring space for you. It’s a place to connect, share and learn practice, challenge and inspire.

The power of hope: Share the stories, words and pictures that bring hope to your everyday practice at SIRCC 2022
As part of the SIRCC 2022 Online programme, Dr Emma Miller, Senior Honorary Research Associate at the University of Strathclyde, will deliver a workshop on her research project, ‘Talking Hope’, which centres on the importance of hope for staff and practitioners - even in times of hopelessness.
Inspired by and in partnership with Talking Hope, we’re inviting attendees of SIRCC to share stories, words and pictures that have helped them hold onto hope in their everyday practice. Following the conference, CELCIS will collect the responses and publish them together on our website as part of an online ‘Hope Reservoir’, where staff and practitioners can read and learn about hopeful practice from others and remind themselves of more hopeful times.
Everyone who is attending SIRCC is welcome to take part and can submit their stories of hope through our online form from Monday, 7 November, to Friday, 11 November. More information is available on our Hope Reservoir webpage.
