Your Dynamic Future
Studying at college or university can be daunting, particularly for care experienced young people.
CEECEF (Care Experienced, Estranged and Carers East Forum), a group of university, college and third sector partners understand this and are hosting Your Dynamic Future, an information day to help. They've planned an interactive day of discussions, activities and information stalls on all aspects of studying at college and university - a 'what you need to know'. The day includes:
- Information on college and higher education options
- Details on the extensive support available while studying
- Facility and laboratory tours
- Talks from third sector, educational institutions and students in similar positions
- Networking and relationship building
It's a free event open to everyone, but will be particular interesting to young carers, care-experienced, estranged or independent young people, care or guidance staff, teachers, parents and guardians, third sector and advocate organisations, education and social workers.
