CELCIS has written to all Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) to share our concerns regarding the implementation of the Children (Care, Care Experience and Services Planning) (Scotland) Bill.

The Bill had a high number of amendments at stage 2 and now, at stage 3, additional amendments have been proposed which further expand duties and introduce new responsibilities for local authorities and partners.

CELCIS has asked MSPs to consider the risks associated with introducing new duties without sufficient engagement with those who will be responsible for implementing them.
