WFWF Webinar 1 Recording - April 2026 MM.png

Across Scotland, people are working together to improve support and outcomes for children, young people and their families.

The Scottish Government's Routemap and National Principles of Holistic Whole Family Support, developed with and for children and families in Scotland, sets out four key drivers for change:

  • Ensuring children and families are at the centre of decision-making and change
  • Availability and access to services across communities
  • Using a whole-system approach and joined-up support
  • Supporting workforce development and culture

Understanding both the needs of children, young people and their families, and how services and processes are working, is central to achieving these improvements.

In March 2026, CELCIS brought together colleagues working in collaborative partnerships in Glasgow to:

  • Hear what data colleagues have been using to understand the systems they have been working with, how they accessed this information, and how they have used it to learn and inform practice;
  • Learn how the local area has collaborated with communities and partners to create a learning system to support action;
  • Find out about the insights from data that has shaped how Glasgow is responding to the needs of children and families.

This free webinar was open to anyone involved in improving how public services support children, young people and families, including those contributing to children's social care reform and to Scotland's collective commitment to keeping The Promise.
